If possible we would like to have all the Knowledge Building Summer Institute participants stay close together. The organizers in Spain, have found very special rates for us in two hotels: the Apolo, and El Cid. Both are located in Can Pastilla, 15 minutes from downtown Palma and from the university campus. There will be a shuttle bus that will take participants to the conference each morning and bring you back to the hotel at the end of the day.
APOLO Hotel in Can Pastilla:
45 euros per person in a double room, breakfast and dinner included.
58 euros for one person only in a double room, breakfast and dinner included.
Discounts:
- Kids 2 to 12 years old sharing a room with their parents: 50% discount
- Third person in a double room: 30% discount
The Hotel Apolo has one outdoor swimming pool and the
beach is approximately two blocks away.
Hotel El Cid in Can Pastilla (4 star hotel):
72.50 euros (night of August 28th) per person in a double room, breakfast and dinner included.
62.00 euros (from 29th August onwards) per person in a double room, breakfast and dinner included.
93.50 euros (night of August 28th) per one person only in a double room, breakfast and dinner included.
83.00 euros (night of August 29th) per one person only in a double room, breakfast and dinner included.

There is a beach directly in front of the El Cid Hotel. It has two outdoor swimming pools, one indoor swimming pool, and one
tennis court.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Upon confirmation of reservation: Deposit of 25% of the total amount
15 days prior to arrival: Payment of the balance of the total amount
CANCELLATION POLICY:
For reservations cancelled 30 days prior to arrival: No charge.
For reservations cancelled between 29 days and 1 day prior to arrival: There will be a one-night charge.
No-shows: You will be charged for the total amount of your booking.
