Educational principles and scaffolds for teacher development in the framework of Knowledge Building International Project, KBIPNúria Batlle, Marta Blancafort, Anna Grau, Rosa Maria Lligé Jané, Anna Martí, Olga Mata, Mar Moncada, Teresa Morales and Queralt Pintó, Departament d’Educació, Catalonia (Spain) The KBIP project promotes collective and collaborative knowledge building and creation in different countries. Catalunya promotes the project at the local level (COMconèixer) with the participation of schools, universities and Catalan experts with experience in the field of international educational collaboration and in assessment and evaluation, and guarantees the cooperation with the international group of researchers in the Universities of Toronto and Quebec and in the University of Hong Kong, as well as with the teacher education centres in the other participant countries and their experts in education.
